My hydrangeas are blooming pretty nicely, but I noticed that they have brown spots on the stems, is this normal?

Can you post a picture? It could be normal or it could be a sign of a problem, no way to tell without a picture.
As I was watering my ES I noticed tiny brown spots on the stems, I've had them in the past. It's normal. But, like ecrane says, a picture is always best to really determine.
