NOID Guesses Please

The stalk is 34" tall. Four more buds on the stalk.

Looks something like Copper Penny. However the beards on my iris are more gold/bronze, so this is only a wild guess. ID'ing is very difficult for me. Here is a picture below.

O thanks so much TBGDN. I know its difficult when there are so many. I will be able to compare better when the additional blooms are out.

Sultans Palace

If you know where you bought it, that will sometimes narrow down the possibilities -- unless it was Walmart.

I got a division from a friend who got a division from a friend..... so no help with sourcing.

It does look like Sultan's Palace -- and then, again, also similar to Play With Fire. Regardless, it's a beautiful iris!
