There seems to be two different types of damage (or, I think). Here is a first pic.
What's eating my akebia quinata?
C'mon DG friends! How can I stopp this creature from eating my vine? heeeelp! : )
Go out a couple of hours after dark with a flash light. First identify. Then slaughter the pest. Could be a number of bugs or insects. Or slugs. Are there any slime trails?
I didn't see any slime trails but I do know slugs love that corner of the garden...so...sluggo, not Bt?
Well, it is a relatively benign product to use. But I would still try to identify the culprit first. Just get out there in your jammies tonight and take a peak with a flash light.
OK, sounds good! I'll do that!
