Many years ago (more than fifty to be exact), I was regularly exchanging plants with a well known artist from Stonington (ME), a sculptor by the name of Bill Muir. Bill had a friend in the Boston area who was propagating iris and he shared two irises with me from this man's efforts.They had no names as yet. I've often wondered if they ever made it "to market". Does anyone recognize this beauty? The other was an enormous pure yellow.
