I am planning for next year and would like to add some Siberian iris to my front yard. What are some of your favorite (and most easygoing) ones?
Please suggest your most beloved Siberian cultivars

Coronation Anthem has always been a favorite of mine. It blooms without fail, and multiples readily. It's a tetraploid with good substance.
But keep your eye on the beardless thread. Any one of the sibs should do well for you in Chicago. As some people have said, some are slower than others, but in the case of the couple of Schafer/ Sacks ones mentioned, they make up for it in beauty.
Coronation Anthem
Dear Delight was one of my first and remains a good-growing favorite. A cheery baby blue, a bit ruffled and mid-height, nice in front and easy to mix in with taller ones.
Don't forget white....I love King of Kings--but there are plenty of others, too. There's just something very elegant and peaceful about a white siberian.
There are lots of great photos in the beardless thread--see what grabs your eye!
Annick for the front of the border--it is quite short
Does everyones Casear's Brother foliage get tall and sometimes a little floppy in the wind?
polly- Lovely picture of Coronation Anthem with the Catmint in the backround.
Anyone have more favorite Siberian Irises to add to this thread?
