Drying Lacecap hydrangea

(Zone 7a)

Has anyone had any luck drying lacecap hydrangeas?

Hurst, TX(Zone 7b)

I have not tried it, KatherineParker, but I did some research that suggested two things to keep in mind. While any drying method used with mopheads should work with lace caps, some lace caps' center buds may turn brown rather quickly and some lace caps' sepals may turn upside down quickly too. This will force you to time your bloom picking carefully if these things will bother you. Of course, in addition to these two things, you still have make sure that you pick them at a time when they will stand firmly.
