tree/bush ID please

These blooms lasted less than a week. Relatives of this tree seem to grow everywhere in the neighborhood. As always, your thoughts are appreciated.

Thanks, Resin. Quite a difference from the species we discussed a few days ago: http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/fp.php?pid=5015911

And this leads to the consideration of this genus as an invasive pest. It produces copious seed from each of those blooms which is distributed by wildlife, and germinates where it is deposited.

The number and quality of flowers varies with sun/shade conditions, maybe somewhat with competition, but I have no doubt that the two instances you've provided are the same species, or very close.
