My father in law passed away August 16 of last year, My mother in law wasn't able to keep the farm, so I lost my very large garden area not to mention the fact that our family lost a wonderful dad and papa. I'd gladdly give it up to have him back, but life goes on. Anyway I've started a small garden in my back yard, but since I've have yellow squash growing I'd like to also have cucumbers but I need to know how far apart I need to plant them to they won't cross breed. Any suggestions?
where to plant cucumbers
I don't think squash and cucumber will cross pollinate. It doesn't really matter unless you are saving seed. Fruit wouldn't be affected.
Vashur is right. The two won't cross.
