'Oasis Sunset' reblooming

Goldthwaite, TX(Zone 8a)

I may like this iris more than I thought! It sort of fades into the background, but after only a month's rest, it is reblooming. Normally if I have rebloom, it is in late fall to early winter. It's really hot, dry, and windy in Central Texas right now.

I'm starting to appreciate the subtle colored ones more all the time. I've never had any rebloom for me. Wonder if you'll get another bloom period this fall?

I have had no rebloom for several years because of very hot, very dry summers. I also need to divide nearly all of the rebloomers. The first fall I had them, nearly all bloomed after only a few weeks in the ground, but they had just come from a grower in California. 'Oasis Sunset' is in a new bed and has been planted only two years, so I am eager to see how it performs this fall. Maybe this will be a year with a fall!
