Anyone else have this problem? I have never seen anything like it. So far I am spraying with homemade citrus oil because I am organic. They just keep moving to the next bean plant.
Ants farming aphids on my green beans
They did the same thing on my clementine trees. I sprayed them with soapy water, which seemed to do the trick.
You can just spray the aphids off with a jet of water. They die before they can get back on the plant. The ants will go away since they don't have any aphids anymore. They farm every year on my okra and I find them fascinating.
