Granny still has not foaled but her udder is now filling quickly. She showed signs of early labor last friday night so we slept at the barn but it passed. I think the foal must just have been turning. She is carrying much lower now and has taken a different shape to her abdomen. Her udder is beginning to bulge from between her back legs. We are keeping her tail wrapped and keeping her stall very clean. She is very heavy on her feet. She has no swelling of her feet or ankles and shows no signs of distress. But she is getting HUGE! I wish the pictures could really show you how large she is. This shot also doesn't show how much her udder has filled in the last 2 days. No waxing or dripping as of yet.
