Iris-Shipshape

Does anyone who grows historics remember the color of the beards on 'Shipshape'? Registration just says "medium blue self" which does not help. Not advertised by Superstition gardens. It is from the 1960s.

Mine appears a very light yellow.

Thank you--I received a picture from a person which shows a white beard. that did not seem correct. It also came out violet instead of blue although film does that unless a filter is used. We had it so long ago that I couldn't remember.

I'm grateful to see the pictures. Because of flooding in England last yr. some irises were sent to a garden in France to save them. They are trying to verify ID. The white tip at the end shows in the angle of the picture & I will have the person double check that the beards become yellow. The old registrations were quite incomplete. Thanks for the help, Lucy
