I have a very nice TB iris blooming this year. Just one rhyzome, but I am exited to see the huge flower.
I am thinking about moving it closer to Immortality as they kind of echo each other shape but contrast in colors so well. I wish I had a name for this one.
Superstition maybe?
It does have similar shape of the standards and falls, but is a bit lighter than Superstition and has light blue beards whereas Superstition has deep purple/navy beards.
This TB iris is different and has enormous flowers which are by at least an inch larger than those of Immortality. I got it from a neighbor who had it in the garden when they moved in. Very much the same color scheme but no ruffles.
You're right--not dark enough for Superstition.
