Asao is in bloom!
Lush and beautiful. Enjoy!
Pirl, thanks for the compliment!
You're quite welcome. It's your work and my pleasure to view it without the work!
ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS!! Sooo pretty!
Asao is putting on a magnificent floral show! Love your gazebo too!!
Breathtaking . . . this may be my favorite clematis photo of the season. I love the obelisk too!
Just gorgeous! And your gazebo is very nice too!
Sherry
Dawn, Shirley, Irishbelle and Sherrygirl, thanks!
Actually, the gazebo serves as a glorified garden ornament -- since I'm usually too busy working in the garden to relax inside it!

It's a glorious clematis. Looks like it's from a gardening magazine!
Doss, thanks very much! I normally don't experience this kind of heavy blooming on clematis (other than Jackmanii). I think the lighting and soil conditions might be just right -- and it's completely by accident!
Just beautiful and great location to enjoy from the gazebo. And not a weed in sight...... :)

Beautiful and love the obelisk too! How many seasons have you had it now?
Goldfinch and Medinac, thank you!
This is the 3rd season for this clematis. I planted it during the fall of 2005. In spring of 2006 it bloomed reasonably well, but was only 1/3 the height. Last year's bloom was much like this year's. After last spring's bloom period I pruned back about 1/4 (perhaps not enough) and the rebloom was very light. I always deadhead this one after it blooms. The obelisk came from Gardener's Supply.
Is that a Gazebo that houses your Hot Tub?..It's stunning!!! as are your Clematis...Jeanne
Jeanne, thanks! No hot tub -- just a gazebo. Although with my gardening-related muscle aches, I could sure use a hot tub! LOL.
It is still gorgeous..Love it...Jeanne
Jeanne, thanks again!
Please show us more pics!!...Jeanne
