Is that thread title long enough? lol

I'm looking for suggestions for fall planting for a new bed I'm building now. I'm looking for all suggestions, except I don't want anything YELLOW in my yard. lol

Ideally, I'd like them to be 1'-3' high with no spreading, so I don't have to control them thru the years.

Oh FULL SUN, heavy, compacted red clay soil.
