Commode rescued by The Works

Missouri City, TX

I have been helping a friend rebuild and improve an old 80-100 year old house. It is about a mile from the nearest town on 200+ acres. We have replaced t&g flooring, replaced single-pane windows with double-pane. Added vinyl siding, opened access panels to make attic spaces usable, and hardware cloth skirting to keep the "critters" out

Last week, my DW volunteered to help with the interior cleanup (since the renters are now gone). Both bathrooms were a mess, and the commodes were nearly black due to scale and minerals from the well water. The owner had just made the decision to replace them, but DW told him to wait.

We brought a bottle of "The Works" with us. It took several treatments with a little wait time between each, but was back to "new" by the end of the day.

Not bad - $1.12 vs $100.
