Anyone familiar with barrow-boys?

No. San Diego Co., CA(Zone 10b)

I wanted to have some containers under our pine trees - there's a real lack of shade in our yard - and came up with the idea of the old push-carts. In England, where DH is from, they had "barrow-boys" who sold their wares from carts (I'm sure they were everywhere, but we were familiar with these).

Anyway, here is the drawing he did yesterday. The bottom will be a grid made of rebar for strength and drainage. The wheels were on sale at Harbor Freight, which is what got this project started. Rather than paint it, I'd like it to weather naturally, or we might stain it.

I'm so pleased with his plan and had to share it.
