Yesterday I promised someone I would test my new hummingbird feeders for leaks. Today I can't remember who it was or where it was posted. Another senior moment!!
For anyone who is interested I got my feeders from a place called copper-creations on eBay. Each consists of a stopper, a copper tube and a red metal flower. I paid $125 for fifty of them. Shipping was free.
I can report that I tested one in a blue bottle and it didn't leak.
If you're wondering why I bought so many we have lots of hummingbirds here, several are indeginous to this area. With lots of bottles - blue and other colors - from the dump I can make feeders as gifts which will be much appreciated.
