Should I feed newly planted Oakleaf?

I planted 3 Oakleafs about a month ago. They are all pretty big, about 3 1/2 feet x 3 feet wide. They were balled and burlaped. Is it true that Hydrangeas love Holly-Tone? Can I go ahead and give it to them?
