Hi folks,
I'm replacing a honeysuckle, I'm guessing it is Lonicera japonica. It came with the house when we bought it almost 4 years ago. I'm replacing it with an Agastache and some Coreopsis. This honeysuckle was not spreading but was very vigorous even without any care. I've dug it up and have gotten the lion's share of the roots, all at least to a depth of 14 inches. Do I need to dig deeper than that?
zone 7b - 8 and very dry here.
Thanks.

Is this a wildflower or an invasive weed?
