Join me in a stroll around Chelsea Flower show 2008.
The show was a fabulous day out, with so much to try and see in one day!

A stroll around Chelsea Flower Show 2008
All impressive from the flowers to the folks. I really could sit by the water in that Aussie setting, it is so inviting. Must say my favorite is the rooftop, it is so secluded and warm colors with all that mossy green and the glass top table.
I must also say how impressed I am that all the visitors were so well dressed - we don't always see that in the US at such events.
BTW, you are lovely as the lilies, now don't start blushing we won't be able to distinguish you with those lovely reddish locks!
Oh, man, I'd like to be in there doing some diggin!
What a treat this is for all of us to see! Thanks so much........
Interesting water feature on that last pic.
Thank you for sharing all the lovely, happy plants and flowers. They are just beautiful......like you!
:-)
Pam
OMGoodness! Thank you Pam.
The Daily Telegraph Garden ...... This garden is intended simply to provide an atmosphere of peace and relaxation.
The inspiration for this garden is the purity of design found in a Japanese garden , which is combined with an English planting tradition to create a harmonious, visually stimulating space.
The tree ferns were magnificent in this contemporary woodland design. The garden features elements from different eras, from prehistoric plants to contemporary bulding materials. The journey from the old to the new reflects the progressive research that is constantly undertaken by Cancer research UK.
