The Oceanico Garden........... Designed by Diarmuid Gavin , thats him in the blue shirt having a glass of wine or a cup of coffee!

This garden is a city courtyard that invites visitors to stop by for a cup of coffee, glass of wine or a light lunch.
A bit like our very own flowerpot cafe!

Giant white daisies made in metal and mesh tower above the foliage. A forest of lollipop trees creates the backdrop.
The mass planting was shades of green.

All impressive from the flowers to the folks. I really could sit by the water in that Aussie setting, it is so inviting. Must say my favorite is the rooftop, it is so secluded and warm colors with all that mossy green and the glass top table.
I must also say how impressed I am that all the visitors were so well dressed - we don't always see that in the US at such events.
BTW, you are lovely as the lilies, now don't start blushing we won't be able to distinguish you with those lovely reddish locks!

Hi gessiegail! Nice you popped in for a look, I'm happy to share the day with everyone!
It was very crowded and we spent alot of time waiting our turn to get to the front to take pics.

I did like this falling water feature...

OMGoodness! Thank you Pam.

The Daily Telegraph Garden ...... This garden is intended simply to provide an atmosphere of peace and relaxation.
The inspiration for this garden is the purity of design found in a Japanese garden , which is combined with an English planting tradition to create a harmonious, visually stimulating space.

The Cancer Resaearch UK Garden...... designed by Andy Sturgeon. A 'thought wall' sculpture, inspired by a 1960's
Mary Quant dress, provides a dramatic backdrop to the garden..

The tree ferns were magnificent in this contemporary woodland design. The garden features elements from different eras, from prehistoric plants to contemporary bulding materials. The journey from the old to the new reflects the progressive research that is constantly undertaken by Cancer research UK.

Oh here's Andy Sturgeon (the designer) for the cancer research garden.
