Clump Shot and a mystery Iris

Rock Tavern, NY

Hi everyone!

The light blue/violet irises have bloomed in full and are making beautiful clumps. It's funny, because I never really cared for them before, but this year I really see how beautiful they are. Kind of like a Monet painting. I am really enjoying them. I thought I would share a clump shot with you, to show you how pretty they are.

As you can see, the clumps have darker irises mixed around them--they haven't bloomed yet.

This is a close up shot of the darker iris. I have no idea what the name is, they were here when we bought the house. I call it the mystery iris. They are only starting to bloom now--a majority of them are still closed.

And another clump shot, just for the heck of it! (Can you ever have enough pictures of irises anyway? I doubt it!)

Your mystery one looks like mine that I am thinking is William A. Setchel
