Old Ned I think you could be right! The size didn't look right for an Eastern Phoebe and I think that's the only one we get here, not sure. Sure glad I took that pic...another one on the list!

Here's a back view of one our nesting phoebes

LOL Nanny, you have the market cornered on the bandits, first the Raccoon, then the Common Yellowthroat. Great shots!

Great shot of the Green Heron Frank.

I must be tired, I actually clicked on Bea's bird poop pic to look at it. lol The finch pic is pretty though.

Congrats on the Waxwings Angele! I'm still waiting on them.

Too many great pics to comment on... Bed time!

Mount Pleasant Mills, PA(Zone 5a)

Great pictures everyone. UniQue Treasures, wonderful shot of that Cardinal. I can never get a good picture of them.

Yep Elphaba, I take pictures in the rain. Lately, if I didn't take pictures in the rain, I wouldn't be able to take pictures. Gosh, but it has been wet.

Tomorrow the Meow Mix feeder goes up in the backyard. I wonder if the Blue Jay and Woodpecker will still be interested in the food if they don't have the fun of swiping it out of the cat's dish.

Do let us know GG!

Yes, sooo many good pics here!

An Indigo Bunting has started coming to the yard to feed. That is so much easier for me to get pics! I told him to tell his buddy Scarlet Tanager about the services here! LOL

Hehe, Nanny, now that I have seen the Cedar Waxwings, next on my list is Scarlet Tanager. A sighting isn't likely here but I'm still hoping. 2nd and 3rd on my list are Summer Tanager and Indigo Bunting.

Terrific pics Pell! Glad to see some of yours again...LOVE the Hawk! PS Thanks burn.

Lincoln, United Kingdom(Zone 8a)

Great shot of the Hawk pelle!

I'm amazed at all the 'new' birds being posted,

The House Martins have turned up again at the neighbours, they nest on the north side under the eaves. They didn't appear last year for some reason.

I got one dropping from the nest but it was in the shadows.

Here's the House Martin in the nest adding bits of mud to the edges, it kept turning around as if to try it out for size and seemed very particular over the placing of the mud. This nest was already there in part, they rebuild them.

Today there was also a Swallow on the electric cables, I don't remember the last time I saw one.

They are prety pelle, nice to watch them fly too.

I got a shot of the Swallow as it took off from the cable.

I always see the Tree Sparrows in flight around here catching bugs so they look like a crazy roller coaster in the air.

Nice pics; those fledglings are really loud. :-)

I was just wondering if any of our photographers have ever captured a Cowbird baby being raised and fed by another type of bird....since their eggs are left in other species nests?
