Mouse failure or computer crash?

I'm running Windows XP and no longer have my mouse. My curser is stuck in the same place and will not move.

I also have other computers connected and I can use my mouse on the other computers.

Any suggestions? Are there shortcut keys that I can use to see if it's my computer?

I was able to ctl/alt/delete and get the process screen but I can only scroll from side to side with my keyboard.

Any help will be appreciated!
