Name the iris correctly & win a 25.00 coupon towards an iris

If you go to Nola's iris Garden and are the first to correctly name/identify one of the unidentified irises correctly you will receive a coupon for $25.00 worth of Iris from their website for FREE. (One coupon per e-mail address.)

There is also another "find the iris" contest. If you find a picture of an Iris on the site that is incorrect and they can verify the error, you will receive a coupon for $15.00 worth of Iris for FREE. (One coupon per e-mail address for this one too)

I found at least one that's incorrect in their catalog (and no, I ain't tellin' you which one). So much for my entry in "Find the Iris".

I've already sent in a number of educated guesses for names of a few of their unknowns. Guess I'll have to wait on that contest to see if I'm a winner.

critter, you can enter as many guesses as you want, but you can only win one certificate per contest per email address. That's the way I interpreted the rules, anyway, and I submitted a bunch of guesses.

I think you're right about unlimited guesses, but I thought I had identified one of the mystery irises until I found an iris of that name was already listed on their website... so an iris that's in their catalog probably wouldn't be one of the mystery ones, would it?

HELP please help me ID this beautiful iris, it was sold to me as Chuckles and I know think no way is it Chuckles, I love this iris and it since died and I can not find it, the picture is a little hard to see, had to take a picutre of the picture anyway, it does have speckles on the falls, not a lot, some small lines coming down the throat near the beards, and rose/peach standards, thanks team sincerely Marie

It took them 2 responses to tell me mine wasn't right, LOL... First, they responded to say that just because it was one in their catalog didn't mean it wasn't a valid guess for one of their unknowns. :-) I did get complimented on my "eye" since it seems my guess was pretty close... that made me feel good, since I'm still so new to irises! I got a $10 certificate, too... may have to play again, since it looks like it could be a rainy day here... :-)

I got one also. It is a good way to get people to order iris. They know you can't just order $10.00 worth :).

Bear in mind that the certificates can only be applied to the price of the irises you order, NOT the shipping and handling.

Give them some time... they are probably in the middle of shipping orders out during this season, so they are probably not getting back to people as quickly as they were able to this spring.
