my korean fir has never looked to good, this year it looks pretty bad.on the end of the branches the needles are falling off.it is planted in full to part sun(atleast 12 hours sun) next to a couple douglas fir's and a blue spruce.it does have some p.cones growing.any ideas on what's going on?
needles falling off tip of pine....
I don't know much about these trees, but I looked it up in Plant Files and every cultivar of Abies koreana that's listed there is listed as only being hardy to zone 5a. Since you're a zone colder than that, apparently your winters haven't been cold enough to kill it, but they could be cold enough that it's never going to really thrive. Of course there might be something else going on too, can you post a picture?
