I've spent the greater part of the day attempting to get my iris sorted out and formulate a plan for where I am going to plant them. Out of all the the named iris I have, I cannot find information on 7 of them. They are:
Dewfold (might be Dewful?) sib
Four Fold (might be Fourfold White) sib
Boetie TB
Fashion Fandango
I did it (might be Ididit)
Light Shine
Prom (not sure if this is the complete name for this one) TB
Most of my iris were given to me by folks on DG so I am hoping someone will know.
Thanks!
Info on cultivars please.
Beotie
Cayeux, 1932 French
TB 36" E, Metallic blue-lavender bitone. Unique color. (Ochracea Caerulea X Dryade)

I should have known Laurie would get this one. :)
Thanks everyone!
Hey, Got to B, a friend in 1991 gave me an Iris called 'Fashion Fandango'. It has since died..... Here is a discription; Light apricot standards, soft yellow falls, tomatoe red beards, ruffled. ML-38 Very pretty. I don't know where she got it.
Mine hasn't bloomed yet but I'll keep your description in mind if it does. The more I think about this one the more I think I ordered it on-line. I think I got it and Night Ruler at the same time - just have to go back through my papers and find out what the deal is with it.
Thanks again!
I bought one in the co-op a few years ago called Fashion Fandangle, it going to bloom soon and I can get a picture.
Here is a link to Fashion Fandangle

There is no iris registered with the AIS by either the name Fashion Fandango or Fashion Fandangle. At least it's not showing up in the AIS online iris registry database. I suppose it's possible that this is an iris that has circulated in commerce without ever being registered. Wouldn't be the first time that's happened. Of course without being registered, it has no verifiable name or description.
I found another iris that I have a name for but can't seem to find any info on it. It is called 'Got Winkie'. Does this sound familiar? Maybe I wrote the name wrong.
GOT WINKIE
(Gordon & Lorraine Nicholson, R. 2002) Sdlg. GN-HH-03. TB, 34" (86 cm), M
S. white, hint of lavender; style arms white; F. very pale lavender; beards white, yellow in throat, upward-curving hairy horn dark lavender on underside; ruffled; slight sweet fragrance. Harlem Hussy X unknown. Woodland 2003
Thanks!
Although it's difficult to tell with the blurriness of the photos, I don't believe either pic is Beotie (definitely NOT the second one). Where did you acquire that one?
I got the majority of my iris from a fellow DGer. I've already checked with her and these were from when she was just getting into keeping track of the cultivar names so she has no records of who she got some of her iris from.
I think these will go into my no-ID bed and eventually be given away. The yellow one is the most prolific iris I have! It tripled in size this year.
