i love to do the macro shots it helps so much when trying to id them
Since the ice storm I have some to identify, some were brought with a name on it but it is not the right one. I bought Cherie and what bloomed was a brown. It's pretty but it's not Cherie. Will post a picture.
A lot of club iris are named wromg
it so hard to keep them separted .
I have started with my post retirement limited money, to now only buy from big breeders , they will replace wrong ones
. and i only got one name wrong from a big seller in 40 years
I buy a lot from Cooleys of their half price items...sometimes still a bit pricey but you absolutely cannot beat their product.....some rhizomes I bought last summer now have 6 to 8 pups
