Any fern forest photos to share from your garden?

Garden Grove, CA(Zone 10a)

Does anyone have there own fern garden? Will you post photos of it? my ferns are spread throughout the yard, which i wouldn't consider a garden of ferns (or fern forest).

Bardstown, KY(Zone 6a)

Dave I counted yesterday and I have 11 different ferns in this bed. It also has a multitude of other things too so I can't call it a dedicated "fern garden"

Doug that is a nice bed. Just wait until those ferns mature - it will be really nice.

All those different textures are going to look stunning together.

I just added 3 Heucheras, 2 Hellebores, 1 Trillium, 1 Actaea and 2 Hardy Begonias on Sunday. It's going to be beautiful in a couple of years.

We have what I like to call a "fern glen" in our woods. Although there are many types growing throughout the woods, the most impressive are the ostrich ferns.

mamasita, first of all I am envious you have something called "woods" near you. Second of all those ostrich ferns are beauties!!

North East England, United Kingdom(Zone 8a)

This photo was taken at a garden I visited yesterday. It used to be an old quarry and this shady part has been beautifully planted with ferns.

Bide a Wee cottage - it's perfect. Here is another from there - Harts Tongue ferns.

This gives you a better idea - there's a pond in the foreground and the steps lead up to where all the ferns are.
