Owasso, OK(Zone 6b)

This is Lemon Pop, only bloom in clump to look like this. It has 5 falls and 4 very stubby standards.

Not the usual problem with Lemon Pop--usually the result of cold while the buds were forming, we used to grow it and had no such problems.

Lemon Pop by Lauer, 1990, 16" E IB. Mine seen here with Avanelle an historic white IB, came from 2006 Maine Iris Society Sale and bloomed for the first time last year.

lot of weird comes from hot cold weather changing
this is just a fluke

Lemon Pop was about 18 or 19" when we grew it--I suppose it was shorter in CA where it originated.

Don't know how tall it is, will measure it later and let you know.

We had extremely cold weather and a bad ice storm too. I'm surprised anything survived, looking at all the big tree branches that fell in my yard. Lost 22 trees out of 37, on my 1/2 acre lot.

Texas/Okla central b, United States(Zone 7b)

my clump only had 1 bloom this season

Bad Scene about the storm. If you can clear trees all right, maybe you can grow more sun loving plants.I am assuming that you will miss the shade.
