I think you're right about the Great Crested Flycatcher, and I think the other is one of the Empidonax Flycatchers. They're so hard to tell apart from each other ( Alder, Willow, Acadian, and Least Flycatchers)...maybe you can ID it from its voice.
Thanks Claypa! Unfortunately I am not good at all with the bird calls! The thing on the first one is the heavy outline on the wings that is really throwing me! I think I've seen that bird around the yard but sure can't figure it out! I wish I could see if it has an eye-ring, that would sure help!
Yep, got to agree there's nothing useful can be done with that Empidonax!
