South Seas tree

Ormond Beach, FL

I need a bit of help from you guys down under with this one..it's from a South Seas landscape (New Zealand, New Guinea and Australia), so I'm told and there a few dozen at this location in Orlando, Florida, USA. The fruit or seeds from this tree are green, very odd skin and quite large (size of a softball or grapefruit) and weigh about 2 Lbs. The tree is about 20 feet tall and looks like a yucca "tree". There are sucker roots, like a Mangrove tree's roots, jutting out about 5 feet from the base of the trunk to the ground. Help??

You got it Judy, Pandanus for sure. they do look similar to dracaena draco though. Pandanus have sharp/spikey edges and tend to fold up slightly along the midrib of the leaf.
