There is something on my plants that looks like thick bubble bath foam. When you touch it, it's wet and a little sticky. I've never seen it before and thought you might tell me what it is. It's everywhere. It is on the plants mainly where the branches? and the stem meet.
Thanks for helping!!!
White foamy stuff?
It's spittlebugs, I've noticed them lately on my plants too. They come around for a few weeks around this time of year and then disappear for the rest of the season. I've never seen the actual bugs, just the "spit". If I'm out with the hose and I notice them I'll hose off the "spit" but there's no need to go to a lot of effort to get rid of them, they'll vanish on their own eventually and I've never seen them do any damage.
Oh, good.!!!! I just knew everything was going to die. I've never seen it before!! They are all over the wildflowers too and that really bothers me!!! Thank you so much.!!!!!
