Does anyone know where I can find one within the state of New Jersey? I have so far checked with 7 nurseries with no luck.

Have you checked with any of them about whether they would special order one for you? It's not an uncommon plant so it shouldn't be hard at all for them to get one for you.
I know that early in the Spring, nurseries do not carry them, they wait until June to bring them in, they bring them when buds are forming and customers can see that they will bloom, and then they want to charge an arm and a leg. I have had mine for several years and I am always on the look out for them. Good luck with yours, but i still think it might be to early to get it at a nursery. iam sure, if you go to a reputable one, they will tell you the schedule when they bring them in. I have also seem them in Home Depot or Lowes, but later in the season for less money.
