Awwwe, happy birthday to an awesome lady. I wish her many fainting goats.

Pittsburg, MO(Zone 6b)

Thank you for the goats. Still trying to figure a place to put them.

KC Metro area, MO(Zone 6a)

LOL. If you can let your horses roam the whole property then you can let the goats faint all over your place. hahahaha

Pittsburg, MO(Zone 6b)

That would work during the day, lol, but at night they would need to be penned up so the coyotes won't sneak in and get them. The dogs can only do so much and if the coyotes pack up then the dogs come inside and there will be nothing to protect them. A pack of coyotes will tear the dogs up to get to food. Especially cute little goats that faint at the slightest noise.

Desoto, TX(Zone 8a)

get a donkey or llama. They guard anything from the coyotes.

Pittsburg, MO(Zone 6b)

I would love to have a jack again, I don't have enough grass in the fields to support another mouth out there. That's why I am looking for space on this side of the fence for the goats.

Hope you have luck in protecting your little babies.
