Two or three years ago I planted a decent sized Prairiefire Crabapple in my front yard. For the first couple of years, it had beautiful blossoms. This year, I'm pretty sure that I saw buds but they never opened into blossoms-just leaves. What's up with it? We did have a frost around that time, so is that the issue? I also have some other fruit trees with buds but they don't seem to be opening up.
