Oh yeah, the lasanga bed on the roses really worked!

I am so pleased with the results of my experimental lasanga bed with these mature roses. These 2 usually fill out much later than the other's on the other side, but not this year. They are going great guns, including the weeds, LOL I'm going to finish getting the bed cleaned out and add some more lasanga ingredients. They sure perked up and these are well over 20 years old. WOOHOO!

So Cathy, did you just layer stuff straight on top in between? I'm not familiar with lasagna-method for existing beds so much as for creating new beds. But your roses are wa-a-a-ay ahead of mine.

I did layer all over the bed. Took the papers within about 2 inches of the graft bud. I am just so tickled.
