Sit down meal.

The bear came back last night and spent 21 minutes eating any thing it could find. (9 pics ) the camera took 27 pics total.

Wow I can't imagine a bear lumbering around the property.

Thanks adel!

Holy cow - I'd be fascinated as I a huge lover of any kind of wildlife (well, you can leave out coyotes, I guess - and nasty ol' rats if they are considered wildlife!), but is it a bit scary to know a bear is roaming your property?

Klamath River, CA

What amazes me is how careful he/she is. So far it's caused very minimal damage.

Saugerties, NY(Zone 5a)

WOW, Great pictures you posted....

Definitely! I love the Fox pic adel!

Is Mate a Border Collie?

Klamath River, CA

Mate is 3/4 AustralianShepherd and 1/4 Border Collie and too smart for her own good. If the bear is on schedule it should show up tonight.

Super!!! I know absolutely nothing about fox(es?) - is that a young one, or is there a way to tell?

Klamath River, CA

I'm no expert on fox but I'm pretty sure it's an adult Red Fox. Red Fox aren't very big. Normally there are two fox that show up every night. Maybe the female has young and is staying with them. If so maybe I can get some pics of the babies when she brings them around.

( just re read this post and I meant to say they were Grey Fox not Red Fox0 old CRS got me again.

Omigosh - I do hope "she" brings the babies . . . what a treat that would be for those of us who don't get to see that variety of mammal in their yards!!!!! They really are beautiful, aren't they!!

Marlton, NJ

That would be great if she brought the little ones around!

Klamath River, CA

The bear stopped by for a short visit last night...............Poor shot of it standing up.
