OCD

Good Morning - This past week my 4 year old (MINI ME), a QH Bay was diagnosed with OCD. As well there was some arthritis and an old healed fracture that were discovered. I took him to 3 specialists. Only one recommended surgery. The other thought the problem was beyond correction as he probably had it when quite young.

Interestingly, since his purchase at 17 mos, there has never been any indication of these problems. Then on Tuesday he began to limp.

He is in very little pain. The vets all recommended a 30 day round of one click of bute a day for the swelling. His shoes will be removed on Monday, and he will be turned out daily.

This morning, I watched him in the small trap, buck and rear and carry on - no limping noticed.

I would like input please from any of you out there that may have experienced OCD.
