how so you get seeds ?

of all the years i have grown irises for pleasure never once seen a seed pod or anything and have several different ones together.
so how do you get new irises?

If you grow TBs it is more difficult to get a bee pod than in earlier times because the flower parts are farther apart than in the older varieties & the pollen doesn't touch the right place. Pollen on the anther is hiding under the style arms in the center of the flower. It is then placed on the stigmatic lip at the outer edge of the style arms.
