It appears to attack new growth mostly. This is a sasanqua. Totally organic garden. HELP!!! Could it be Leaf Spot Fungus?
Anyone know what this is?
It looks like some sort of leaf spot. How/when are you watering? A lot of times there can be fungal spores in the soil, and if you use some form of overhead watering (sprinkler, hose, watering can...or rain for that matter), water can splash off the soil, and land on the leaves carrying fungal spores with it. And you can compound the issue if you're watering in the evenings, then the leaves stay wet even longer and that can increase the problem. I'm not an expert on fungal diseases of camellias so it might be something else that's caused by something different, but the way I described is one possible way that many different types of plants can get leaf spots.
