Care of Succulent Pelargoniums

Mountlake Terrace, WA(Zone 8a)

I have been recently pondering getting into succulent Pelargoniums, and wondering how hard they are to keep.
Are they stuck with the Southern Hemisphere, or are they like all other succulents wanting a winter rest? What are recommended plants for one up here in the GPNW of North America? And I don't have a greenhouse, yet. So I am confined to window sills about 9 months of the year. The rest of the time they can be outside in the sunshine.

Hiya - I have a couple and I treat them no different than my other caudiciforms - mine live on a lighted rack for most of the year - last year they all spent the summer outside - this year they will stay inside (lack of space & I have way too many) - most of my caudex plants does not go dormant due to the grow lights - but, I do give them a little less water, fertilize sparingly and they keep growing :-)

I am hoping to add a few more of them this year - I find them to be great looking plants and easy maintenance :-)
