Lots blooming, so I smushed them all together in a collage.
- Princess Diana Clematis
- Wayne's World Baptisia
- Cape Fuchsia
- My favorite container (at the moment)
- Knockout roses
- Abraham Darby (David Austin Rose). They're really pretty if you water them. Or, plant them in full sun. Or, fertilize them... Just a thought.
- Magic Carpet Spirea
- Geranium (Orion)
- Oakleaf Hydrangea

Diehrd: Goodness, you've been busy! Congrats on your BOP! It's beautiful. And that container is f-a-b. :)
I've lived in the low country most of my life and never realized that Spanish Moss blooms. Amazing.

Not the greatest photo since I took it a high noon, but it shows how well my La. Iris are doing this year.

This container is all plants that are perennial, or reseeded. The only thing that's not really going yet is some purple Angelonia. It's a little later than the rest. I think it's looking good so far, though. :)

Deb-

Your Louisiana iris are lovely. I'm with you, I didn't know spanish moss bloomed. I'll have to go outside and take a closer look at it!

I didn't know either; I went looking for some today to see if mine was flowering and I couldn't find a bit of it around. Usually it is all over the place; it figures there wouldn't be any when I wanted to see it. It was pretty windy a couple of days ago, I think all my moss blew clear to Bluffton. :-)))

Bluffton, SC(Zone 9a)

Diehard I wouldn't be playing with the spanish moss, usually loaded with red ants. Chiggers another name. They're very small and bury themselves under your skin.

Safety first kids. LOL.

Roses looking happy.

Don't knoe if it is true but I've always been told moss that is still hanging in trees is OK, the red bugs get into the moss on the ground. Chiggers are evil little critters and they do seem to prefer to bite on body parts one can't scratch in public.
