Rooting Kiwi Vine

I was working in the garden and accidentally broke off a branch of my Kiwi vine. Is this easy to root? I stripped off the bottom sets of leaves, dipped it in rooting hormone, and have it in water right now. Will this work?? Or does someone have a method that will work??
