I'm so excited!

This is "Coffee Malt" - first year bloom - I was not expecting this baby to bloom until next year!!!

I purchased every coffee related iris I could find last fall - including Juan Valdez - for my husband who is in the coffee business - there are a few more that I have not been able to find for sale, but the five I purchased from Snowpeak Iris are all healthy and growing well!

Funny story about Juan Valdez. When an iris is named after a person the hybridizer is supposed to get permission. J.V. is an advertising creation so hybridizer used the phone book, found a Juan Valdez & got his permission to use the name.
