Well, 'Sun Parasol Crimson' from Lowe's last year. We overwintered it in the hoophouse. When Ken planted it at the old Redbud stump (yeah, tall stump, chainsaw quit working) he couldn't get it free of it's old supports, so he leaned it up there after he wrapped some old chicken wire around the stump. It has grabbed onto the wire already and should do a good job of hiding what's left of the tree. I'll be cutting on it later.
Very pretty. I have a pink mandevillea but I'm tempted to buy a red too. Love they way yours is going up the stump.
