Need help in setting up a printer on my wireless computer

I have the following printer HP C6280 all in one printer. We just got in a few months ago and installed it on our main station.

I would now like to use the HP C6280 to print from my wireless laptop. Do I have to install the HP C6280 printer software on my wireless laptop for this to work?

Also, do I have to use any particular setting on my wireless to make this work?
