Light spicy scented Blue and gold, with lots of blooms. It is a wonderful plant. If only I knew what type of Iris it is. I could use your help. Helpers are always rewarded.

After a closer look I'm thinking it's one of the many types of tall bearded Iris. A friend gave a small patch to me from his mothers garden last spring. DF didn't know what it was.

Many varieties possible. Maybe the iris forum can help.

Can't wait for mine to bloom, just putting up stems w/buds.

TB iris--from the form an older one. If the spathes from which the buds emerge are papery instead of green, it is probably a form of I. pallida.

Dead on irisMA; it does have papery spathes. Thank you so much all of you!
