green worm

Berkeley, CA(Zone 9a)

Every day I inspect some things in the garden. Every day I find one of these. I've found them on my Brugs, daffodils and various other plants. What are they and what do I spray to get rid of them? There are two pictures. I think one is a more immature worm of the same kind.

I use Bt to get rid of cats that are eating my plants. It does not hurt anything but the cats. http://www.ext.colostate.edu/pubs/Insect/05556.html

Hope it helps.

Now, come on, Kell! Re read your post. Even though I'm a dog person, I had to read this 3 times before I really got it!
Thanks.

LOL. Now that I think about it, I too couldn't understand when I first read about cats on plants on here. You might post that pic on the bug forum just to make sure it is not a beautiful butterfly in the making.

HAHHA! ME TOO! I was thinking...gosh what a GREAT way to get rid of those stray cats that eat my birds! (just kidding!)
