I have this beauty in my garden, it's labeled something it is obviously not. If someone can help me positively ID it, I'll send that person 5 nice rhizomes. I sure hope I'm tempting someone!
ID for me again!
It looks like Palo Pinto...
Shirley
It's very close Shirley. Notice the light purple on the standards on mine, I'm not seeing that on Palo Pinto. The beard on PP is more yellow where mine is more orange. I'll send you some anyway if you like it. It's a shame, it's such a big clump.
ck Freckled Sunshine
Tazzy,do you have a link to Freckled Sunshine?
Weegly that would be great, I would love to have a start of it.
I googled Freckled Sunshine but couldn't find it either
Shirley
going to doctor will try to find it .
its Paul Blacks from Mid- American Iris
What size is it? It's looks very similar to Grace Package an SDB.
BUTTERSCOTH SWIRL?: http://www.wildwoodgardens.net/images/Bearded/A-D/Butterscotch%20Swirl.gif - http://www.candtirispatch.com/catalog.php?item=374&catid=%20Mid-blooming -
Am I the winner?!!!
LOL, you're all winners! I can't tell by the picture if it is even close to Butterscotch Swirl.
Thanks Tazzy. I'll try to find it in the meantime.
Elizabeth, it's not a SDB, it's very much a tall bearded. I'll be there today and will take a picture of the huge clump for you.
